I was thinking the other day how Wicked, the musical, was inspired by a book. And the book Wicked was inspired by a movie (Wizard of Oz) which was itself inspired by a series of children’s books. So I started scribbling out a grid, and soon I was filling it in, and then I thought it might be a fun thing to post and see if other people also enjoy filling it in. So here you go:

Answers: Foodie Phrases
I will list my answers below to Tuesday’s challenge. The challenge was: To find 26 two-word phrases having to do with food in which the first word in each phrase begins with the letter G and the second begins with each letter of the alphabet. There are six letters that I did not find phrases for. I did not want to repeat any of the words.
Ginger ale, granola bar (also garbanzo beans, gravy boat), goat cheese (also griddle cakes), garbage disposal, grain elevator, gluten free, Golden Grahams, game hen, (no i), grapefruit juice, (no k), goose liver, genetically modified, ground nuts, green olives (or onions), goober peas (or garlic press), (no q), gin rummy, grocery store (or grilled salmon), grease trap, gobble up (iffy), grape vine, (no w or x), Greek yogurt (no z).
