Constant Consonants Puzzle: D

This Week’s Theme: Drinks

Today’s letter: D   (vitamin D = milk; one possible answer = ADE)

Word count goal: 15 (I have 21)

The challenge: Think of as many words as you can that contain the listed consonant(s), in order, and contain no other consonants. The given consonant(s) may be repeated, but only right in a row. Vowels, including Ys when they sound like a vowel, may appear as often or in any place in the word as you like.

For example: Words that would work for a “Constant Consonants” puzzle with the letters LP include LEAP, LIPPY, and LOOP. Words that wouldn’t work include SLEEP (extra consonant) and LOLLIPOP (both consonants are repeated with vowels in between).

Give yourself small bits of time throughout the next two days to improve on your list. I’ll post mine on Wednesday. In the future, rules will be posted in a link to the right —>

Cheers!
